Air textured Yarn

Air textured yarn (ATY) is a type of textured yarn that is produced using a process called air texturing. In this process, a yarn is passed through a turbulent air stream that causes the fibers to twist and coil, resulting in a soft, bulky, and textured yarn.

ATY is commonly made from synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, or acrylic, although it can also be made from natural fibers such as cotton or wool.
